The narrator is reading a review of their restaurant. They’re dubious as the reviewer states that the one thing chefs have in common is a mother who cooked. Their mother did not cook. She was too ill.

Instead they were fed by their neighbours in Belfast. The foods and the memories. And of course the welcoming generosity. Is the review actually pretty good?
