I Read... Things: Death Library: The Exquisite Corpse Collection

Death Library: The Exquisite Corpse Collection by Juliette van der Molen

This is a collection, by a (fictional) death librarian of 26 alphabetically sorted dead people. By talking briefly ā€“ telegraphically ā€“ about their deaths we learn about their lives. We also learn about Bartholomew Miller*, the librarian who has curated this list.

Read This: For tiny intimate, cutting fictional biographies lurking at the edge of poetry.
Donā€™t Read This: If it sounds morbid, or violence and death are not for you.
* It is undoubtedly no coincidence that the authorā€™s name van der Molen (ā€œfrom the millā€) is cognate with that of the librarian.
