Monster of the Week 12: Season Finale

Monster of the week number 12 for the third week of February is Season Finale, with whom an ongoing storyline ties up very neatly, who reveals an unexpected revelation, who notes that finally they kiss and who has an epilogue with a cliffhanger ending.

 

With this terrible joke* the first season of Monster of the Week is over. Monster of the Week returns in two weeks, unless you are an actual patron in which case there is no escape; subscribers get Monster of the Week seven days early starting next Tuesday.

 

* From the X-Files in particular and supernatural investigation shows more generally; a monster of the week episode is one in which the monster is dealt with and has no major effects on the larger plot or world. A season opener or finale might offer changes to the status quo; also the X-Files had Mythos episodes in which something about the alien-conspiracy was revealed. Sorry to explain all that to you.
