Attack Of The Giant Leeches

In the Florida Everglades local good-time girl vanishes with her lover; her husband is blamed. The game warden isn’t so sure; his girlfriend is the local doctor’s daughter so they spend most of the film looking for alternative theories while the locals search for the bodies. There’s a bunch of swamp stereotypes, and obviously they go dynamite fishing.

Anyway it’s giant leeches. When they’re in the dark and mostly out of view they’re, if not absolutely convincing, at least horrifying and disgusting! Eventually they bring in a diver to try and look for the bodies after which some evidence of the leeches is unearthed and they come up with a plan.
