I got a pair of Birkenstock slippers for Christmas. They are like Birkenstock sandals, though with a soft grip on the sole and a slipper upper. The lower part is quite stiff. I have high insteps and something of a swollen foot (though that seems to be recovering) and have found them easy to get on and comfortable.
