Alistair Catfish is a magical talking wish-granting catfish that lives in Colin’s water feature. There are rules and limitations on the wishes. If Colin wishes too greedily or too often or for the wrong things it goes wrong. He can’t wish for his tenant to fall in love with him. But he can wish for her post to be delivered to him. And for other things to make him attractive.

Alistair Catfish has requirements too but Colin keeps pushing. The power of wishes, and the choice to fulfill them, all this is a mystery.
