What We Do In The Shadows

A group of vampires live in the suburbs of Wellington, New Zealand, and they are not awfully smart or well adapted to things. They keep making a mess when they drink blood. One of them has a familiar who brings guests over for them to eat, but this doesn’t seem to go to plan. Nick, her ex-boyfriend, is turned into a vampire by Petyr, the 8,000 year old feral vampire who lives in the cellar.

Nick is accepted by the group as he can get them into a good club (unless invited in they can’t go in which has previously kept them out of all but the rather sad vampire club). Also his friend Stu works in IT so is very useful. Nick boasts about being a vampire which leads a hunter to their home where he kills Petyr.

They are being followed around by a documentary crew and things keep spiraling out of control. It’s a comedy.

Watch This: For a very funny vampire comedy about vampires who are just guys, really, and not especially smart or well-adjusted guys.
