I Read Books: Flesh Wounds
Flesh Wounds
Brookmyre comes to the end of his trilogy. Jasmine Sharp learns the truth about her past. Glen Fallon is accused of murdering the man who ran him out of town. And Detective Superintendent Catherine McLeod is compromised by her past, but may be redeemed by her junior officers.
It’s a murder mystery in which old school gangsters break their own rules (which were always more guidelines anyway) seeking revenge for betrayals. I don’t know if it stands on its own but it certainly works well with the previous two novels.
