The Fleet Lords burned the temple long ago and even the ghosts are fading away. All that is left is the cat, who has no sense of time, but knows that the temple must always have a cat.

The Spectral Lance comes, or rather returns. A great starship, once ruled by the Fleet Lords, the ship’s captain rebelled. And then was killed in the rebellion and the ship fled.

It has been in hiding, and the Fleet Lord hunters are on its trail. But the temple still has one guardian, even if it is a ghost and when Spectral Lance and the temple cat meet no one can predict what will happen.
