Jack O’Dander is in a viral video. If you can see him then he’s going to come and get you. Isobel, Natalie’s older sister, and Ellen, her cousin, showed Natalie the video when she was six, claiming they couldn’t see him. Natalie could. Frightened, she broke the phone, couldn’t explain why, was punished.

That night Isabel vanished.

Natalie’s grown now, part of a support group for people with missing relatives. Her family never recovered, at every stage Isobel’s absence looming over them. She’s with Dan, another member of the group.
