Mia is out looking for wolves in Maine, seeing if they’ve come over the border. It’s a research project and she has Leo to help her, they play wolf howls and see if they get any response. They do this at night as she has to lecture during the day.

Her mother vanished in the woods, looking for wolves. So she won’t give up looking for the wolves. And maybe her mother.
