I read Stories: Dinner With Craig by Kate Folk
The narrator has dinner with Craig twice in this story. Between the dinners the snake that lives in their apartment grows so big that they have to move inside it. She says it’s okay and the snake misses her when she’s gone but she’s lying as the snake’s stomach acid is eating her flesh.
Craig in lying as well.
