Evangeline Fox finds her heart broken when the man she loves will marry her step-sister. But it seems the Fates have returned to the kingdom so she goes to the Prince Of Hearts, known as Jacks, to stop the wedding. He agrees in return for three kisses, to be bestowed where and when he wishes.

The wedding party is turned to stone. In horror Evangeline takes the curse on herself, freeing the others. Eventually she too is freed to discover the Empress wishes to dispatch her as emissary to the Marvelous North, a land where tales are under a curse, some changing each time, some unable to be finished. The Prince is holding his unending nights to seek a bride. But when Evangeline arrives Jacks is already there.

A delirious fairytale flavoured adventure that flirts with romance and also with darkness, never quite committing to either.
