I Watch Films: Zoltan, Hound Of Dracula
Zoltan, Hound Of Dracula
In Romania the Dracula family tomb is disturbed and a dog and a servant of Dracula escape before the authorities can destroy them. They travel to America where Michael Drake, a descendant of Dracula lives. He takes his family, and their dogs, on a camping trip where they are hunted and menaced by the dog and the servant, who wants to make him a vampire so he has someone to serve.
A Romanian policeman tracks them down, but not before there are several vampire dogs roaming the countryside.
There’s a few good bits (Zoltan being shipped to the United States, Drake all-American, nevertheless has a few keepsakes and memories of his immigrant parents) and a few quite scary ones, especially if you don’t like dogs.
Watch This: For a dog-vampire horror film
Don’t Watch This: If you are scared of dogs, or if you love
