They Did Not Know by Kristin Garth
Garth is writing a sequence of (mostly) sonnets Crow Carriage, about a Victorian serial killer. All that I’ve seen are good. This one is a masterpiece of rhyme echoes, while the story that develops is darkly revelatory.
