I Read Books: In The Mouth Of The Whale
Sometime after the events of The Quiet War and Gardens Of The Sun, there is war around the star Fomalhaut*. There’s a weird gas giant planet called Cthuga where the True have a floating base called The Whale. There is a ring of asteroids and stuff, inhabited by the True and their Quick slaves, the habitats being called The Archipelago. The Ghosts are attacking, trying to get control of Cthuga to uncover its secrets, and make it into their god who will change history and set it on the right path. They might even succeed.
Meanwhile we see the childhood of Sri Hong-Owen, gene-wizard character from the earlier books. But it’s not the first time that Sri has gone through her childhood and her arrival will change everything for everyone.
