I Read Books: Corvus
Twenty-odd years have gone by since The Ten Thousand and Rictus, still a mercenary, is considering settling down on his highland farm. Corvus, who has united several cities, also has ambitions to become King of the Macht. He recruits Rictus and his Dogsheads to his army.
But this puts him on the opposite side of several of his former comrades, some of whom know about the farm and family. While Corvus fights aginst the cities he seeks to subjugate, they will use any means to stop them. Despite Corvus's best efforts to fight a clean war this gritty series will force the characters down into the mud and the blood.
