Preview for An Admirable Engagement

Captain Carstairs has the most powerful warship afloat on this half of the world’s waters, the blessing that was given to the little Admiral, and the Hand of Antipodea, giving him power over the dead. He intends to conquer all the lands bordering the Pelagic Ocean.

Opposing this are four survivors of the same battle that set Carstairs on this course. Will Fanshawe, now a merchant, will have to take on his old role of purser, finding the supplies for a fight at the far edge of the world. Robin Button, able seaman, now bringing his elven comrades to the fight. Lizzie O’Leary, doctor and scholar, will use her knowledge and her friendship with a water witch. And John Toris, captain of a sloop of war, ranking officer of the Thousand Islands, brings with him a flotilla of locals, determined to serve Antipodea and the King.

But will even this be enough to defeat Carstairs? Victory or defeat we know one thing for certain; it shall be An Admirable Engagement.
