They meet an angel in their childhood bedroom. Angels don’t need names, they are manifold yet do not need to converse with one another. They do need to converse with the narrator, because that is the limited nature of humanity.

The angel explains how it is to be eternal and infinite. The narrator what it is to be human. To love and be loved, to have to hide the glow of your love.
