Spycat

Marnie is a cat, whose favourite TV program is about an agent – a spy and/or cop. She has all the accessories. She’s a house cat who knows nothing of the outside world. Her owner’s brother comes to stay, but it turns out he’s a thief robbing all the houses in the area. When his secrets seem to come out he claims he’s making the cat an agent and then tries to post her well away.

She teams up with a rooster, who has been selected for the pot, a dog who failed to stop the thieves and a zebra who escaped from the circus. They have various wacky adventures, as they try to track down the thieves, but find themselves framed for it. It’s a CGI cartoon for kids, and also Belgian so occasionally gets a little European. The cast and plot occasionally point to the fairy tale The Musicians Of Bremen.
