I Watch Films: The Flesh And Blood Show

The Flesh And Blood Show

A bunch of actors are hired and brought to a seaside pier theatre to put together a show. It’s spooky. One of them is a gory special-effects guy, who plays pranks. So when one of the women appears to have been decapitated by a guillotine in the props room, then vanishes, everyone thinks it was a joke or they made it up, or they just left. The mysterious backer just keeps hiring people through their agents, never appearing in person.

There’s a secret history too, and they might learn it if anyone is about in an off-season seaside town.

The film has spookiness, strange lights and staging, gore, and lots of nudity – mostly the boobs and bums of the women, but some equal opportunity male backsides appear too.

Watch This: A sometimes tense, stabby horror film set against an abandoned theatre in a (seasonally) abandoned town
Don’t Watch This: It makes no sense, just an excuse to show some naked women and then kill them
