I Read Stories: The Soft Animals by Nathan Willis
The Soft Animals by Nathan Willis in Cleaver
Mom used to make plush animals, but they never sold. Dad suggested she give them away, make new ones. Then one day he gets in a car crash; he was taking the plush animals somewhere.
He’s non-responsive. The car is a write-off. Mom uses them to make deer, and they sell before the next fair even opens, to other sellers.
There are other things you can make from a wrecked car.
