I Read Stories: La Loca by Robert Wilson

La Loca
by Robert Wilson in Spillwords

Joaquin Murrieta is staying at Captain Dutton’s hotel when a ruffian called Michelson starts hassling the women. They run him off but he comes back and kidnaps one of them so they set off in pursuit.

But this is not a simple Western tale. La Loca is out that night, the ghost of a woman killed by her man, her head cut off to prevent her spirit resting. Her spirit will not rest and demands justice, raising ghosts from pre-history.
