C*nsorship Magazine Issue 1
C*nsorship Magazine Issue 1
C*nsorship magazine is a high-concept art/literary mag that circles the idea of censorship. The first issue riffs off the short-lived late 19th Century Savoy Magazine, possibly the centre of the Decadent movement. If nothing else take a look for the glorious pictures (see the cover!) There’s also some interesting writing and here are my highlights:
Audacious Tables by Jem Henderson – a three by four table, with each entry having a verse for the cross section entry, and that can be read vertically or horizontally (or less linearly if you’re into that)
Ville De Sansom by Connor Harrison – In the revolution Marseille is abolished by decree, and the city slowly begins to disintegrate in the memories of those who live there.
People’s Minds by Thomas Mccoll – a painter paints a picture that reflects what is in people’s minds and is prosecuted for obscenity.
Also lots of other pieces! (It's a pdf.)
