Pearl is a flight steward, and also a member of the Resistance, an organisation that does minor random acts of kindness to create the future acausally.
Pearl is an amnesiac who woke up in a fridge in a scrapyard. Part of the fridge, which was part of her, was stolen. And the man who stole it on the plane she’s on with a mysterious suitcase.
There’s also a plot about stolen money that was supposed to fund the research into higher dimensions that would allow the Resistance to exist in the past, a giant Pterosaur and Pearl’s creators at the end of time trying to escape entropy.
