When you go home from a funeral you should make a stop along the way. For coffee or food or just somewhere. This pagpag confuses the spirit so it doesn’t follow you home.

But when they go to bury a parakeet they forget. So there is the curse of the droppings. The miracle of the eggs. The great roosting.

They should have known better to come home from burying the parakeet without a pagpag. They really should have known better.
