Strandbridge Historical Society Liner Notes

 

Welcome to Strandbridge. For the next year I will be publishing Strandbridge stories on my Patreon. The introductory fiction, the newsletter for the Strandbridge Historical Society gives some of the flavour of what's going. It's a small English town, slightly insular, with a deep history and more importantly lots of weird things happen.

This is light-hearted, at least in tone (losing people on the ghost tour is probably not good. And why can't the professor get funding. Are they a crank, or is there a conspiracy?) Not all of the stories are like that, some skate over the surface, more take a longer look, and a couple dive into the dark heart. Because a town doesn't get a history without some unpleasant things happening.

I mean it doesn't get a present without unpleasant things happening right now. But Strandbridge is a fictional town and, I cannot stress this enough, the historical society is entirely fictional, as are the people mentioned, and the events recounted. So if they seem familiar in any way...

...well that's just part of the weirdness.
