Star Trek: Into Darkness
The re-booted Star Trek is always going to be in conversation with earlier versions of Star Trek, and this one decided to go full on riffing off Wrath of Khan. Full marks for boldness and confidence.
All the characters get something to do, and all of them have a moment, but every time it seems it might have something to say a fight breaks out and there are explosions and shooting and all kinds of things.
This is probably just as well, as no doubt if they had actually got around to saying anything it would have been disappointing.
Watch This: For an exciting shooty space adventure
Don’t Watch This: If you want proper Star Trek ideas and moral dilemmas fully considered
