I Read Books: Bitten
Kelley Armstrong’s urban fantasy werewolf romance. Elena is the world’s only female werewolf. She’s not happy about it. She left the Pack to go and live in Toronto, but get called back for an emergency. Some wolf is hunting on the Pack’s territory.
We find ourselves in the middle of Elena’s complicated life and relationship with the Pack and especially her lover Clayton, and also an equally complicated plot against the Pack. Elena can’t resist Clayton, but also blames him for her being a werewolf, which to be fair is entirely his fault. It completely derailed her life. Which was just starting to get on track after an abused childhood, though one of the things improving it was falling in love with Clay...
Anyway, there’s some shagging, mostly in human form, hunting, often in wolf form, a bit of kidnap and rescue and a resolution that occurs thanks to Elena’s understanding of what their opponents actually want individually.
