365 Poems in 365 Days: Poor Judgement
Disappointingly, Karl Urban is helmetless in his first scene.
Really though, the strength of this film is that it is the
Exact opposite of Stallone’s Judge Dredd; no jokes, no being
Disowned by the Judges; not even a threat to bring Megacity One to
Disaster. Just Dredd and the rookie having a particularly bad day.
I've watched a film, so here's an acrostic review for number 87. It's not 100% true to say that there were no jokes, but the film was missing the unsubtle satire of the comic. It is 100% true that Dredd is first seen without his helmet, a betrayal of everything ever.
